Google Just Killed The "I'm Feeling Lucky Button"

Google has actually offed this oldest, quirkiest features - the "I'm Feeling Lucky" button.
The good news is that in the process, Google has added at least another hundred million dollars in revenue.
Formerly, you can go to Google.com, type a search query into the search field then clicking on "I'm feeling lucky, go directly to the page that was listed as a search result above.
But today, events, and Google announced "Google instantly." Now when you go to Google.com and start typing a search in the search bar, Google starts instantly display the search results. Users no longer have the ability to click on the button "I'm lucky" before they begin to see the search results. Essentially, the function is dead.
So how does killing the "I'm feeling lucky" Google button earning more than $ 100 million?
In 2007, the head of Google's search Marissa Mayer estimated that 1% of all Google searches go through the button "I Lucky - skip the pages of Google search results is quite.
This means that Google has shown ZERO ads (and thus received zero clicks on ads) on 1% of all Google search queries. Back in 2007, one analyst suggested the "I'm Feeling Lucky" button Google has probably cost as much as $ 110,000,000 per year.
Back then, Marissa Mayer said Google had not dropped because the button "It is possible to become too dry, too corporate, too much about making money."
She said: "I think what is pleasant" I'm Feeling Lucky "is that it reminds you there are people here."
Today, Marissa comes to eat his (cup) cake and have too much. The "I'm Feeling Lucky" button is still there on Google.com - perhaps to remind users that there are real people with Google - but it was made entirely irrelevent.
